ThOuGhT fOr ThE dAy

Our desert garden in our last home...

There is a garden in every childhood, an enchanted place where colors are brighter, the air softer, and the morning more fragrant than ever again. ~Elizabeth Lawrence

I challenge you to take a moment and view your world through the eyes of your children. The world full of color and sound and beauty and endless possibilities. The world lacking the everyday cynicism we encounter just living. The world of wonder and goodness and light. To never believe that your dreams are impossible, to never imagine hurt and fright and excess in unfathomable proportions. I wish to be young again to experience the freedom of youth and not feel the weight of the world on my shoulders. Take that moment to watch your children as they experience something new and wondrous and free-spirited as they are. Remember how you felt, the freedom we had in blissful youth. Just a thought! ;0)
